Owner Builder Reports
GBA can provide you with an owner builder report (also known as a defect report or a 137B report).
If the owner is listed on the building permit as the builder then the owner is classed as an owner builder and you will require an OB report if you are selling your property within 6.5 years of the work being finalised.
What information is required for GBA to carry out an owner builder report?
- Copy of the building permit
- Copy of the endorsed plans
- Copy of either the Occupancy Permit or Final Certificate of Inspection (whichever is applicable)
